Cover design for Read People Like a Book by Patrick King

Task: to design a cover for a book on reading thoughts.

In addition to openly spoken words and written letters, people constantly send informational signals to the outside world. Our body, posture, gestures, facial expressions, gaze—everything is a source of valuable information or even an indicator of lies or intentions. But few people know how to receive and decode these signals. Many books teach how to read body language, but this one teaches how to make sense of the received information to understand people’s inner motivations and relate them to the context of the situation.

A person who analyzes his or her observation is able to penetrate the minds of others, literally reading their thoughts and as a result building effective communication.
