Lights and Seat Belt road sign

The sign made its first appearance in the paragraph § 141. Make it Short of Mandership as an attempt to simplify incredibly long messages.

The author proposed to convey all messages to drivers using a minimum number of easily readable words.

Plain and simple

The first signs were installed on Tyumen highways at the beginning of 2008. Later similar or slightly different signs were installed in many other Russian cities.

The Lights and Seat Belt sign started the process of improvement of Russian road information infrastructure.
