The making of Polis Group logo and corporate identity
Overview Process
The designer starts by drawing sketches and visualizes two concepts. One is a modern tech house, the other one is a warm and comfortable home.
The client chooses comfort, but does not like any of the sketches.
Inviting another designer to join the project, working further on the idea of a comfortable home, light in the windows, dreams of one’s own nest. Presenting the options to the client.
The client picks the first one, but has doubts about the choice of colors.
Trying various color combinations, considering what type to use and how the corporate identity should work. Trying different typeface options, creating a style for corporate illustrations.
Eventually we settle on a simple type and ask the type designer to create a broader version of the face.
Slightly adjusting the colors. Done.
