Yandex Cities

The Yandex Cities project helps users learn things about cities by publishing a new account of a city on a weekly basis, so the users can see what a city looks like from the Internet and what it’s known for in the web.

The pages dedicated to different cities are released every Tuesday. Yandex shares interesting findings based on searches made by the city’s population and calculates the Internet index—the city’s Internet penetration rate.
