Sotbi presentation

Overview
Task: to create a presentation that people would want to see again.

Everybody has already gotten used to “disposable” printed presentations, something that is normally given to partners and potential clients at meetings for reading later. After receiving it, people usually put it into a pile of similar paper waste or simply throw it away on the spot.

Sotbi wanted viewers of their presentations to retain information longer and, what’s even better, take it with them and show others. We wanted the same. Which is why we created the presentation in the form of a very unusual book. It has spinning gears, descending parachutes, a superhero lawyer and other equally interesting things. Naturally, everything rotates, moves and explodes with pure power.

A wheel with a meaning

Statistics is represented on its own opening as a wheel with different values. Numbers are large and at the top, captions are smaller and at the bottom. The most important number is the amount of money returned to clients. It is printed in orange and never goes away.

Services

Services offered by the company are illustrated by vivid metaphors. Bright parachutes that guarantee a soft landing in any transaction and a superhero lawyer determined to protect the client no matter what grow right out of the book as pop-ups. Gears and Rubik’s cube demonstrate coordinated work in complex bankruptcy and asset management cases.

Text with hidden meaning

If you can read between the lines, the original message acquires a completely new meaning. Transparent film used in the book proves it by revealing the true meaning of seemingly official texts about the company.

Assembly

Creating such an original edition required unconventional solutions and time for implementation. For example, over 20 meters of sticky tape were used in assembling the first prototype.

Testimonial cards

One of the problems solved by the studio was making sure clients can read the testimonials that are relevant to them. Which of reviews are appropriate for which clients is decided by Sotbi.

All testimonials are placed in a special pocket, each printed on a separate sheet of paper. To make sure the set does not fall apart, the pocket has a special magnetic latch.
