Moscow Virtuosi orchestra logos

Moscow Virtuosi orchestra was created in 1979 by the prominent violinist Vladimir Spivakov together with a bunch of his friends and colleagues—laureates of international award contests, soloists and concertmasters of Moscow’s top symphonic and chamber orchestras.

Art. Lebedev Studio developed over ten logos for the orchestra. Which of the logos is to be picked for concert billboards depends on one’s mood. Every musician is free to choose a logo he or she likes best for the business card.

The logos are stylistically close to each other and at the same time vary like different performances of the same music piece. The major graphic element resembles the letter “M” in the word “Moscow” and is akin to the form of a violin soundboard.
