Globus design is based on one of the geometric primitives—the sphere.

Since over the past 10,000 years humankind has encountered no serious troubles as far as the boiling of water is concerned, Art. Lebedev Studio’s main task was developing a beautiful rather than a functional kettle.

After all, the kettle was still made functional: water can be poured in through Globus’s wide spout, and with its silicone handle you will never burn your hand.
