The movie takes place in a tiny village where everybody knows everybody. One day the villagers get the terrible news about the imminent and inevitable demise of all humanity and decide to bid the final farewell in their own way—by having a feast of all feasts. The tables are moved together, the cakes are baked, someone musters all the courage and makes the most important life decision, but the end just doesn’t seem to come.
