  • Fan Quixote, a stand fan

Fan Quixote stand fan is distinguished by a blade span of over 6 feet and no mesh grill.

    For true romantics

The project, called “Don Quixote and Design: Fine Art in Everyday Life,” was launched by the Cervantes Institue and Mezonin magazine to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first publication of Miguel Cervantes’s famous novel.

Designers and artists were asked to develop functional products deriving inspiration from Cervantes s novel. Don Quixote and his other characters were meant to turn into useful everyday objects (they didn t encourage the creation of statues).

Fan Quixote prototype was created specially for the exhibition.
