ICL Techno laptop line design
ICL Techno was established on the basis of the Kazan Computer Plant, which began operations in 1954. It was at this plant that the famous M-20 mainframe computers were assembled—machines that were used at the Mission Control Center to calculate Yuri Gagarin’s flight trajectory.
Our studio developed the design for a new line of laptops from ICL Techno that was released under the new retail brand “OSiO,” a name derived from the chemical elements oxygen and silicon (SiO2).

The design is unified across all models in the line and is characterized by harmonious proportions, smoothly rounded edges and striking accent details.

Every structural element follows the overarching design concept, contributing to a cohesive and distinctive product identity.

Ports and connectors are grouped into a single modular block, a solution that enhances the minimalist aesthetic and gives the colorful laptop bodies a visually complete appearance.

We meticulously refined the keyboard’s ergonomics, including the shape and layout of the keys. The key rounding radius matches that of the overall chassis. The most essential function keys are highlighted with unique icons that align with the laptop’s visual identity and all labeling uses the expressive, high-tech studio typeface Wagon. The keyboard borrows the best from both Mac and Windows. The result? Simply stunning!
