I would like to thank everyone at Art. Lebedev for inviting me, and all their sustained efforts throughout the duration of my stay in making my internship a success.

The company is a collection of uniquely gifted individuals. People are rarely told what to do they just do it. They design because for many it’s their life, their future and what they live for. People work, sleep, and socialize when they want, this creates an excellent working environment which gets reflected in everyone’s work.

It takes balls to come here (respect to all interns that have) let along to work here for any duration of time, especially if you don’t speak the language. My experience was an emotional roller coaster. There were moments of euphoria followed and moments and situations I’d rather forget. Not being able to speak the language or learn it was my biggest downfall, yet with effort from everyone it started to become a second spoken language.

‘The Brain’ is fantastic. All companies should operate a similar system, at the end of the day anyone can have an idea.

My stay in Moscow is not something I’m going to forget in a hurry. I’ve learnt new skills that I will inevitably use for the rest of my life, and for this I am truly grateful. Thanks to all the people who took the time out of their day, to teach me these skills. I hope someday I can return this favor to another designer.
