  • Navigation for Blokhin Cancer Research Center children’s wing

    • OverviewProcess
    Task:
to create navigation for a hospital’s children’s wing.

The Blokhin Cancer Research Center helps patients with malignant tumors, carries out scientific research in tumor biology and develops new surgical techniques. A navigation system for the center’s children’s wing that helps find way in the hospital building and cheers up children was created at the studio.

A single word was used to signify multiple medical procedures, while the traditional abbreviations were given in a smaller typeface

Friendly yellow animals can be seen from afar.

Signs are placed at the height comfortable for both adults and children
They can be easily removed without leaving residue

Bright and emotional characters bring joy to monotonous hospital corridors. Animals take funny postures, smile and talk to patients.

    Navigation turns into entertainment

Various figures are located near each room. Bright images help find the destination faster.

Finding a room is easy thanks to the colorful characters

Yellow background of new signs makes reading the text easier and allows to see them even in low light.

When needed, hospital employees can replace navigation elements themselves with the help of the prepared diagram.
