Comprising 31 stations, the Moscow Central Circle became the 14th line of the Moscow Metro. The new line goes almost entirely above ground and is serviced by unusual red trains that previously could only be seen on intercity routes. The Moscow Central Circle platforms are different from the Metro platforms and some of the stations lack the traditional interchanges. A unique style for the new line was developed at the studio.
The Moscow Central Circle logo differs from the symbols for other Metro lines yet fits perfectly within the existing system of graphic designations.
On maps the Moscow Central Circle is denoted by the same double red line.
