Villagio is beginning construction of a new resort town near Yekaterinburg. Rossy will be built in an environmentally pristine area on the banks of the Sysert River, surrounded by Ural forests. A website for the town that conveys the atmosphere of its future neighborhoods was designed in the studio.
The website transports visitors into nature, making scrolling through the landing page feel like taking a forest walk. Rays of the setting sun break through the dark trunks of tall pines and a wooden path leads toward cozy new homes. The fairytale mood is enhanced by book-style layout, soft colors and elegant graphics.
The path leads to the riverbank, where the forest is reflected in the water. The reflection motif appears throughout the site: in the logo, icon combinations and text design. The emerald and white color palette echoes the natural beauty of the Urals.
Among the premium neighborhoods, there’s space for a school, a landscaped embankment and a private pier. The generous use of white space around each element on the website is a metaphor for freedom and a subtle nod to respect for each resident’s personal space.
After exploring the surrounding nature and the layout of the neighborhoods, visitors are led to a colorful project presentation and a button to choose their future homes.
