Bely Mys Wine Town art object concepts

The modern and attractive Bely Mys district in Gelendzhik is strengthening Russia’s wine culture and giving people more reasons to visit the country’s southern regions. For this district, the studio has designed five groups of wayfinding, informational and simply beautiful art objects.

The entrance stele at the traffic roundabout welcomes visitors to the wine town. Its intricate and elaborate appearance references the area’s architecture, while its scale makes it a visual landmark of the road junction. At night, static or dynamic visuals are projected onto the stele with 3D mapping, enhancing its wow effect.

The sculpture at the waterfront entrance to Bely Mys reflects the district’s branding elements and logo. From different angles, the abstract form reveals a wide, joyful smile, the shape of Gelendzhik Bay, and of course, the swirling spiral of wine in a glass.

The town’s art objects are united by smooth, flowing forms that echo the architecture of the surrounding buildings. Two of the groups—for Sadovaya Street and Angulem Street—consist of an information screen, swings and a bench. The third group, located in the main square of the district, features a large canopy with shaded seating areas.

Bright colors, glossy and mirrored surfaces form cohesive compositions and create striking accents within the urban landscape. It’s a place where people will want to spend time, stroll, take photos and most importantly, drink wine.
