Pyaterochka shelf labels

The Pyaterochka retail chain constantly invents and runs various promotions for its customers. Each promotion has its own terms, and often not the simplest mechanics. That’s why it’s crucial for store visitors to clearly see the current price of a product and easily understand what steps to take to get the best deal.

We decided to move away from the traditional small print, unclear explanations and endless asterisk footnotes. The new shelf labels are designed to be clear and visually appealing. The information is reorganized, systematized and logically grouped into blocks.

These content blocks help structure the data and significantly improve readability. This approach allows for a large amount of information to be displayed effectively within the limited space of a price tag.

The product name is set in large, legible type
The conditions block grabs attention right away and explains the offer in just a few words
The best price is made as prominent as possible
The tags area includes two types of marks: mandatory ones and optional but helpful ones for the customer
The QR code links to the product’s web page and also serves as a technical marker for store staff

Standard (non-promotional) shelf labels follow the same layout rules as promotional ones but are displayed in a neutral color and don’t include the branded frame.

For promotions where the price doesn’t change, the goal is to draw attention to a specific product. For this, we created a frame with an ultra-concise message.
