Ahead of the new Kontinental Hockey League season, the studio has refreshed the uniform design for Omsk’s Avangard team. The design is inspired by the theme of speed, a trait famously embodied by the hawk, the team’s official mascot.

The shoulder pattern is composed of elements from the club’s logo and resembles the plumage of a hawk. The use of reflective film creates a shimmering chainmail effect—a fitting detail for battles on the ice.
The team’s signature crimson pattern breaks through the dominant black of the jersey, symbolizing the inner fire of every player. The design itself is a nod to Avangard’s home arena in Omsk. The inside of the sweater is entirely red, reinforcing continuity with the previous version and paying tribute to the club’s traditional colors.

The custom typeface is a studio-made take on athletic typography, crafted with special attention to character proportions.

Two sets of numbers are designed for placement on the sleeves and back of the hockey jerseys. Their standout feature: asymmetric serifs reminiscent of a hawk’s talons.

The away kit follows the same design principles, but with an alternate color scheme.

Inside the collar is a motivational phrase about making the right choices. Combined with sharp design elements and signature arrows, it completes the image of a determined team with its sights set on another championship win.
