“Walks with an Architect in Moscow: A Guide to Contemporary Architecture”
“Walks with an Architect” is an engaging guidebook based on the walking tour series of the same name that introduces everyone interested to the contemporary architecture of Moscow.
The project appeared in 2022, its authors are young architects who, in their Telegram channel, talk about what interesting things have recently been built in the city, as well as about the special techniques and striking details of the new capital’s architecture.
The guidebook includes five original routes that form a long walk from Polyanka to Vorobyovy Gory. They reveal to readers the beauty and content of contemporary buildings, often underestimated by the city’s residents, help to see fresh architectural solutions in the historical context of Moscow, and marvel at the creative boldness of their creators.
Each route has its own color and a simple and practical diagram with timing.
