A graphic style and the external design of control elements were developed for the program. During the development, we took into account crucial technical and ergonomic factors:

• medical monitors have a high resolution, while doctors may have poor vision, which predetermined the use of large fonts and pictograms;
• the workplace of a paramedic may be equipped with a sensor panel (instead of a usual monitor with a keyboard), so entering the data by typing was minimized along with increasing the number of screen elements.
