Cord typeface

Overview

Cord is a display serif typeface executed in the unbroken contour technique. The entire grapheme is like a single flourish.

What in regular typefaces is called a stem, that is, a stroke, in Cord is additional white space. The text looks like a grid of rods.

Because of the emptiness in the stems, increasing the weight of Cord, on the contrary, makes it lighter. The sight is mesmerizing — drag the slider and the letter will flap its wings like a butterfly.

The light style in Cord, on the contrary, becomes darker, and in small sizes can even be used as a text typeface.
