Twisted shapes and the sharp contrast between wide planes and wind-blown counters create a sense of rotation. Inside each letter there is its own vector of motion.
Thanks to the combination of wide and narrow strokes, the characters resemble liquid gushing out of a pinched hose: the pressure builds up and the jet bursts out sharply, creating spectacular splashes.
The characters are deliberately unstable: supports are shifted and axes are not fixed. As a result, text set in Typhoon looks cheerful and energetic.
