Order interfaces for Pyaterochka

The Pyaterochka retail chain is launching stores in the “Order and Collect” format. Customers place orders in advance through a mobile app or via a terminal at the store entrance. All orders are fulfilled from a special warehouse, a dark store located on-site.

Our studio designed the interfaces for both the main terminal and its mobile version.

Order screen

An interactive wow-screen provides a fast and intuitive ordering interface while simultaneously explaining to customers how to use the new format.

While the order is being placed, friendly animations on the lower screens visualize the item picking process and subtly highlight the brand’s core values.

When idle, the large screen plays short instructional animations that explain the ordering process.

Ordering procedure

As soon as a customer touches the display, the ordering interface instantly appears.

The process begins with authorization via the Pyaterochka loyalty card.

Familiar visuals help users navigate the ordering scenario. Step numbers directly correspond to the physical steps involved in the purchase process.

The screen is designed to serve up to four people simultaneously: no lines, no waiting!

Purchasing is made quicker with fast navigation across categories. A side menu, product group tags in the listings and row-based subcategory separation all contribute to a smooth experience.

Mobile version

The mobile ordering interface is perfect for those who like to grab groceries after work. Select your items and in just seven minutes, stop by the store to pick them up.

The mobile version features a simplified structure: it has no tab bars and all the essential functions—the catalog, search tool and order status—fit on a single page.

Introducing the new format

Dark stores are a new and unfamiliar shopping format. To introduce it to customers, a bright promotional screen was designed.
