Spass Group provides Swiss schoolchildren with delicious and healthy lunches. The meals are delivered to schools in convenient lunchboxes, the contents of which children can choose themselves or with the help of their parents.
Our studio has designed the interface for the personal account page, which includes tools for both children and parents to quickly create a menu for the upcoming weeks.
Healthy lunch every day
The main element of the interface is a monthly calendar, with the current and upcoming weeks available for selection. It allows users to easily fill each day with a set of healthy treats. There are two main models: choosing a preset option or manually filling the lunchbox.
Pre-made and custom lunches
By selecting a pre-made lunch, the user assigns a menu recommended by the company’s specialists for a specific day. This menu is presented in the interface as advice of the friendly mascot Zak-Zak and is marked with a paw print.

If a day on the calendar is marked with an apple icon, it means that the child has selected the food themselves. The system has a “deadline” for each week at noon on the upcoming Friday. After this time, the menu for the next period is automatically generated and can only be viewed, not edited.
Dynamic interface
On holidays and special dates, the personal account page is decorated with themed colors, regardless of how the calendar was filled.
Zak-Zak, the furry dog mascot, congratulates children on the start of holidays, New Year or Halloween, while also celebrating each student’s personal achievements.
Positive reinforcement
When manually selecting items, the interface takes into account various restrictions. For example, users can’t fill their lunchboxes with just sweets or include food that could cause allergies. These restrictions are set by parents in their own section of the account page, which children cannot access. Both sections are built from ready-made components, maintaining a consistent visual style.
Intuitive builder
Unified interactions
A combined option is also available: a user can start with a pre-made lunch and then swap out individual components based on taste preferences. These days are marked on the calendar with two icons.

Family service
Both sections of the personal account—for children and parents—are interconnected, while also respecting access rights. In their section, children can choose food, see their achievements, track consumption statistics of their favorite dishes and view their position in the overall ranking. Parents manage all settings related to payment, health restrictions or school transfers. It’s a service for the whole family!
