Lokomotiv-Kuban Basketball Club Youth Training Center design
Lokomotiv-Kuban is one of the leading basketball clubs in Russia. For many years, Lokomotiv has been running a first-class reserve training system led by talented coaches. The Youth Training Center is one of the cornerstones of its infrastructure and the foundation of the club’s youth development program.
The design is based on mighty figures of athletes who are so fast that their silhouettes blur. The illustrations acquire the power and dynamics of a fast-moving train.
Each space has its own size, specifics, proportions and character of the walls. The illustrations were carefully adapted to their functions and layout. Titanic figures of athletes were created for key areas of the building (halls, locker rooms, gyms, etc.).
The dynamic images inspire young players with their strength and energy. A true army of winning basketball players is growing up in these colorful walls.
