Studio booth at the Arch Moscow 2025 exhibition
From May 21 to 24, 2025, the Arch Moscow architecture and design exhibition is taking place at Gostiny Dvor. Here, architects, urban planners, developers and other industry professionals gather to discuss how to make the capital more comfortable for both residents and visitors.
This year, both the exhibition-forum and the Art. Lebedev Studio celebrate their 30th anniversaries. The theme of the exhibition is Essence. For such a significant occasion, we designed a booth, a four-dimensional art object that literally reflects the essence of design and its role in architecture.
Inside the booth, additional space appears seemingly out of nowhere. The closer you get, the more details come into view.
The secret behind the illusion lies in the upper part of the structure. A multitude of seemingly chaotic elements is reflected on the mirrored surface of a pyramid: depending on the viewer’s movement and angle, the image transforms into different compositions.
Each of the four façades reveals a different side of the studio. Visitors are greeted by an intriguing studio logo on a black background. On the left, they encounter a bright, festive explosion and the symbol of the anniversary illuminated by spotlights.
The studio’s achievements are showcased by a composition of various objects designed by us.
Along one wall, in the coziest part of the booth, there’s the “designer’s corner”: a workspace with a monitor broadcasting useful information for visitors.
The minimalist shape and proportions of the art object are fully dictated by its function—but they also make the booth a true highlight of the exhibition.
