The Northern Administrative District is one of Moscow’s twelve districts. For its prefecture (the local executive authority), we developed a concise logo in the form of an abbreviation and created an entire visual communication system for constituent neighborhoods. The stylish, modern identity helps bring the prefecture’s initiatives closer to the people who live and work here, making them clearer and more accessible.
The typographic logo is based on a clean, fresh grotesque typeface and is complemented by the main symbol of Moscow, the red five-pointed star.
This comprehensive update also includes symbols for each neighborhood: each one now has a bright, recognizable icon or sign. These refer to the neighborhoods’ historical coats of arms, preserving their individuality while emphasizing continuity.

The identity system is flexible: the icon configurations adapt easily to different contexts.

Zhilishchnik housing and utility services are being transformed in accordance with the unified visual identity. The housing services logo supports and extends the prefecture’s logo.
Each neighborhood also has its own logo variant, with the corresponding icon incorporated into the design.

The Avtodor road services logo, inspired by road signs and mirroring the form of the Zhilishchnik mark, integrates seamlessly into the harmonious visual system.
